SENA Courses to Transform Lives

This past March 21, 2025, marked a very special day for the Enequén – Nueva Jerusalén community, as we officially launched an exciting partnership that promises to bring learning, growth, and transformation to many local families. In collaboration with SENA, we are proud to announce the beginning of a new phase of in-person training courses, to be held every Friday at 2:00 p.m.

This educational initiative is designed to empower parents and young people in our community by equipping them with practical skills and knowledge that will open doors to entrepreneurship, better job opportunities, and lasting personal growth.

🎓 What Courses Are Being Offered?

The training program includes key areas that are highly relevant to economic development and self-sustainability:

• Entrepreneurship

• Customer Service

• Business Leadership

• Entrepreneurial Mindset

• Artisanal Bakery

• And more courses to be added depending on interest and availability

We are blessed to have Professors Roque and Paula leading this process. Each instructor will guide a group of students — and due to the high demand, the participants have been divided into two groups of 30, to ensure a more personal and effective learning experience.

💪 Incredible Response from the Community

We are thrilled to share that over 90 individuals — including moms, dads, and youth from the area — have signed up for the courses. This overwhelming interest highlights the great need for accessible, quality education in vulnerable neighborhoods like ours.

At Fundación Renacer en Amor, we believe that education is a powerful tool to break cycles of poverty and exclusion, which is why we are so passionate about bringing it directly to those who need it most.
